Zeus is a language neutral programmer's IDE for the Windows platform that comes pre-configured for several programming languages.
It has general language features like automatic brace insertion, brace matching, code indenting, code folding and code completion.
Zeus also provides seamless integration with Universal Ctags and this ctags information is then used to drive features like intellisense, code navigation and auto-completion.
It is also easy to configured Zeus to work with any compiler or builder, allowing the compile and build to be run from within the IDE and have the output captured inside the IDE.
Finally features like user editable macro scripts and user defined code templates makes it possible to automation many repetitive coding patterns. Things like for loops and if statements can be configure to expand on short keyword triggers.
We think this makes Zeus the perfect programmer's IDE, however don't take our word for it, instead read what other Zeus users have to say, or better still test drive Zeus for yourself. We'd love to get your feedback.
The Zeus forum contains many examples on how to configure the IDE to work with several of the more popular programming languages.
